Society of Maidens Ch.6: Child's Play

Alexis was waiting near the Industrial Illusions Headquarters. She was very busy trying to get everything worked out and everyone where they needed to be. The students would go in and take over the building and convert the people inside. Meanwhile the members from the city would go out and convert more members nearby, to have the area fully under control. Alexis sighed, “Why does it have to be so hard to get everyone to work together.” She had to deal with constant arguments between some of the members like Jade and Ashley or the ego of a certain student. “Skyla! Where are you going?” Alexis caught sight of Skyla who was heading out towards the city. “I’m not getting stuck in that building. With all those people, how am I supposed to shine? I’m a one man show, now if you will excuse me I got fans to entertain.” Skyla mockingly blew Alexis a kiss and sauntered off.

It nearly cost Alexis her sanity buy she finally had everything ready or at least as close as they were going to get. She had promised a reward for whoever made it up there first and defeated Pegasus which got everyone motivated. The only city member helping them take over the building was Jennifer. Alexis gave the signal and Jennifer sashayed her way over to the two men guarding the building. She turned on her charm and flirted with the two bodyguards that had strange spiked shaped pompadours. Jennifer easily won them over and took them away from the building. The students took their chance and entered the building to begin their assault.

 A bit later, Tea and Tina finished off another pair of duelists. “Good job Sis!” “Thanks, but you’re the real great one.” The twin sisters shared compliments as they looked over their progress. They had taken out almost everyone in the area they were assigned to. They decided to chat with the other pair of girls helping them out. One of them was wearing a frilly pink fairy princess outfit with fake butterfly wings and holding a toy wand. She had light green curls and large thick glasses. The other girl wore a pink 50’s style dress with white gloves and stockings. She had on a white fluffy jacket and a beanie with little ears and a kitty face on it. The girl also carried a bag that had a small fluffy dog in it and her hair was styled into brunette victory rolls. Both girls were fairly short but also had curvy figures. “Willow, Miss Raptor, thank you for the help. You really made some cute girls of those duelists.” The four girls giggled as they looked around at the duelists they  had defeated and converted. “Thank you, we are just glad to help. Besides there is nothing we love more than cute things.” Miss Raptor told the sisters. “Why don’t you two help out the students in the building. We can handle the rest here.” Willow said which Tea and Tina responded with a nod and thanks.

 The two twins headed towards the building and got permission from Alexis to go on in. They got through a lot of floors quickly since the others had a late start.  The first people they ran into were Charlotte and Jennifer. Jennifer had multiple girls around her that were clad in similar bunny girl outfits. “Got some new employees to help you out?” Tina asked Jennifer with a smile. “Yep, and a pretty little protégé as well.” She responded as she gestured towards Charlotte who was fawning over her. “Well don’t have too much fun.” Tea told her before the two continued to run up the building. They passed students dueling the employees before meeting Ashley slowly going up the stairs. “Really taking your time Ashley.” Tina playfully teased Ashley. “A proper duel takes time and patience.” Ashley grimaced as she looked down at her fancy ballgown and heels. “The same applies to proper fashion as well.” Tea and Tina giggled and told her to hang in there.

Now that they were getting closer, the two were running into people to duel. The sisters beat them quickly and continued going forth. They watched Jade who was taking her time playing with her opponents and dragging things out for fun. The number of students around them dwindled as they were getting close to the top. They stopped to see Blair who was sitting down and resting. “Blair are you okay?” Tea asked while they both curtsied to greet her. “Yes, thank you. It’s just tiring going up all these stairs. You two make it look easy though.”  Tina and Tea giggled. “It takes lots of stamina to do dancing, so this is nothing.” Tea and Tina said goodbye and went towards the last floor. They swiftly dealt with anyone who got in their way as they made it.

The twins celebrated as they were in front of the door.”We did it!” “Of course, we are the best team after all, no one can beat us!” They entered the door in with pride as they saw Pegasus sitting there. “Welcome to Industrial Illusions Headquarters, I hope you are enjoying yourself. I am surprised to see you here Miss Gardner.” Tea nodded towards Tina who switched out her tag duel deck with her solo duel deck. “Pegasus, I will beat you for the sake of the Society.” Tina declared. “Of course, I am no stranger to high risk duels after all, let’s make sure to enjoy themselves.” The duel began as Tea took the first turn.

Turn 1: Tina (4000) Pegasus (4000)

“Alright you can do this Sis!” Tea said to her sister while giving her a hug. “Thanks for the support; I can’t lose with you here. I activate the continuous spell card ‘Duo Performance- Opening Act’” A large stage appeared around the duelists, filled with all sorts of currently inactive equipment. “Since I control no monsters when this card is activated, I can special summon one ‘Idol Angel’ and ‘Ballet Angel’ monster from my deck. I choose to summon ‘Haruna the Idol Angel’ and ‘Marcelle the Ballet Angel’ in attack mode.” The stage lit up as two monsters came out of the curtains. One was a brunette with short fluffy pigtails and wearing a bright yellow minidress with a frilly tiered skirt. The other was a girl clad in an orange leotard and with long light brown hair. The idol began to sing, while the ballerina danced to the music. Pegasus didn’t notice but he was shrinking a bit as he lost a couple of inches. “I set one card and end my turn.”

(Haruna the Idol Angel(1500ATK/1700 DEF )- When this card is normal summoned you can special summon one “Ballet Angel” monster from your hand. If you control a “Ballet Angel” monster than once per turn when you summon a “Idol Angel” monster you can add one “Duo Performance” spell or trap to your hand)

(Marcelle the Ballet Angel(1700 ATK/ 1500 DEF)- When this card is normal summoned you can add one “Duo Performance” spell/trap to your hand. If you control a “Idol Angel” monster than once per turn when you summon a “Ballet Angel” monster you can add one fairy monster to your hand.)

 Turn 2: Pegasus (4000) Tina (4000)

As his turn began, Pegasus started clapping. “Bravo, a lovely performance. Now let me show you some entertainment more my style. I activate ‘Toon Kingdom’ which starts by banishing the top 5 cards from my deck.”  A large green book formed in the air and opened up with a medieval style castle popping out. “My toon kingdom is treated as toon world while on the field and it’s time to put it to use. Since I control no monsters and you do, I can special summon Toon Cyber Dragon  (2100 ATK) from my hand.” A silver machine dragon appeared with exaggerated details and looking oddly deformed. “Next I summon Toon Goblin Force,(2300 ATK) he can’t attack this turn but my Toon Cyber Dragon will. Since I control Toon World and you have no toon monsters, he can attack directly.” Toon Cyber Dragon prepared to attack before Tina flipped one of her cards. “I activate the continous trap card, ‘Duo Performance-Show Stopper’. Since I control a ‘Idol Angel’ and ‘Ballet Angel’ monster, I can negate one attack per turn.” Multiple speakers appeared on set to make the singing even louder and distract Toon Cyber Dragon from attacking.

 “Sorry, but you can’t stop my toon monsters. I activate the quick play spell ‘Toon Rollback’ because you negated my attack, I can attack again.” Toon Cyber Dragon stretched and sneaked past the idol and ballerina to attack Tina directly. (4000->1900). Pegasus began to change more as he continued shrinking. His skin became smoother and softer as his face was now noticeably younger. At this point he was looking like a short teenager instead of an adult.

 Turn 3: Tina (1900) Pegasus (4000)

“Time to make my comeback. I summon Ayane the Idol Angel in attack mode (1600 ATK)” A new idol appeared on state, clad in a sky blue frilly outfit and her dark blue hair tied into a short ponytail on one side. “Since I summoned a ‘Idol Angel’ monster I can add a ‘Duo Performance’ card to my hand thanks to Haruna’s effect. Now because I summoned a monster, my ‘Opening Act’ sends back the monsters summoned by it, but I can special summon a ‘Ballet Angel’ and ‘Idol Angel’ from my hand though my ‘Opening Act’ disappears”. Haruna and Marcelle waved goodbye as the stage was covered with smoke. When it cleared there was a new set of girls there. “Let’s welcome ‘Aiko the Idol Angel’ (1300 ATK) and ‘Victoire the Ballet Angel’ (1400 ATK) to the stage.”

(Ayane the Idol Angel(1600 ATK/ 1900 DEF)- Once per turn you can select one set card your opponent controls, they cannot activate or flip summon it this turn. If you control a “Ballet Angel” monster, your opponent can only set one card per turn)

(Aiko the Idol Angel(1300ATK/ 1400 DEF )- Once during either players turn you can select one fairy monster you control; it gains 1000 attack points til the end of the turn. If you control a “Ballet Angel” monster, whenever the attack of a “Ballet Angel” changes then this monster changes the same amount.)

(Victoire the Ballet Angel(1400 ATK/1300 DEF)- When this card destroys a monster by battle, it gains 300 attack. If you control a “Idol Angel” monster than double the battle damage inflicted to your opponent by fairy monsters.)

 “Now I activate the effect of the beautiful Aiko. I can raise the attack of Victoire by 1000 (1400 ATK->2400 ATK) and because I control a ‘Ballet Angel’ monster, Aiko’s attack changes with any ‘Ballet Angel’s. (1300 ATK->2300 ATK) Next I activate the continuous spell card ‘Duo Performance- Encore’” The performance got even more energetic and lively with the addition of the next card. Tea gave her sister a proud nod which Tina reciprocated. “Alright, my Victoire will attack your Toon Cyber Dragon. Thanks to her effect as a control a ‘Idol Angel’ my fairy monsters inflict double battle damage.” Victoire delivered a strong spinning kick on the toon monster. (4000->3400) Tina and Tea were shocked to see that the toon had only gained a cartoonish bump instead of being destroyed. “ Sorry, but toons are quite resilient, injuries are just a funny little nuisance to them. As long as I have toon kingdom, I can just banish the next card of my deck to prevent their destruction.

 “Your monsters may not be destroyed but I can still attack.” Tina declared as Aiko attacked Toon Cyber Dragon (3400->3000) “I activate the effect of ‘Duo Performance- Encore’ which lets one of my monsters attack again since I have a ‘Idol Angel’ and ‘Ballet Angel’.” Aiko and Ayane cheered Victoire on who launched a reinvigorated attack on Toon Goblin Attack Force  (3000->2800). After the attack, Pegasus’s body changed even more. Body fat and muscle began to melt away leaving him with a dainty figure. He shrunk and deaged more and more until he was now an eleven year old child. “My Encore card has another effect, your attacked monsters are changed to defense and cannot change their position until my next turn.” The two toons were entranced by the performance to do anything as Tina’s turn ended.

Turn 4: Pegasus (2400) Tina (1900)

The music kept blaring as Pegasus began his turn. It was starting to creep in and mess with his mind. The beats pounded his brain, as it began knocking out facts from his head. Slowly but surely he was losing his adult intelligence as lots of things he used to know were becoming too advanced and complicated for him. “Since my two toons cannot attack, I tribute them to summon Toon Dark Magician (2500 ATK). Now, I activate his effect, I discard one card from my hand to special summon Toon Ancient Gear Golem in attack mode (3000 ATK).” Another two toons appeared on the field. As they were summoned, Pegasus’s clothes started to change. His socks turned thinner and stretched into a pair of white tights. Meanwhile, his shoes morphed and shifted into a harder material and reformed as a pair of black mary janes. “My two toons can’t attack the turn they are summoned, so I set one card and end my turn.”

Turn 5: Tina (1900) Pegasus (2400)

Tea gave some words of support to her sister and expressed her belief. “You’re right Sis!” Tina said while hugging her sister. “I summon ‘Flore the Ballet Angel’ in attack mode (1900 ATK)” With the addition of another ballerina, the show got new life and was louder and brighter than ever. The music continued its work on Pegasus’s mind. His mind dropped further to that of a well-educated child. After that, his face contorted and changed into a cuter and more feminine form. His eyes large, bright, and innocent with a small glimpse of naivety in them. “I activate Ayane’s effect to select one set card you control, you cannot activate it this turn. I then activate Flore’s effect which also lets me select one set card you control. If you don’t activate it this turn, then at the end it goes to the graveyard and you take 1000 damage.”

(Flore the Ballet Angel(1900 ATK/ 1600 DEF)- Once per turn you can select one set card your opponent controls. If they don’t activate it by the end of the turn, send it to the graveyard and inflict 1000 damage. If you control a “Idol Angel” monster, halve the attack of any monster your opponent controls during the turn they are summoned)

 Tina followed up her combo by activating the continuous spell card ‘Duo Performance- Crowd Cheer’. “My card gains one counter for each other “Idol Angel’ ‘Ballet Angel’ or ‘Duo Performance’ cards on the field which brings it to 6 counters.” A large crowd of screaming girls appeared in front of the stage. It caused Pegasus’s changes to accelerate even further. His pants started to melt into goop as it stretched and shaped itself into a skirt. The skirt was long and pleated, and was made of expensive and incredibly soft red silk. It had golden flower designs that sewed themselves onto the skirt. Underneath, Pegasus’s underwear underwent a similar transformation to turn into frilly white bloomers. “I will set one card and then end my turn.” Tina said with a confident smile as Pegasus’s set card exploded and took a chunk of his life points with it. (2400->1400)

 Turn 6: Pegasus (1400) Tina (1900)

Pegasus felt dizzy from everything going on and had the music practically ringing in his ears. He couldn’t help but watch the performance with childish wonder. “N-no it’s just a stupid performance.” He wasn’t sure why but he was feeling awfully self-conscious all of the sudden. “I will end this now! I activate the spell card ‘Shadow Toon’ which lets me inflict damage equal to one of your monsters. I choose Flore to wipe out the rest of your life points.”  A dark shadow popped out from a book to attack Tine. “Sorry, but the effect of my crowd cheer will protect me. I don’t take any effect damage equal or less than the number of counters on it times 400.” The shadow was blocked by the large crowd of cheering fans.

 Pegasus couldn’t help but pout like a child before feeling embarrassed and taking on a reserved stance and expression. Meanwhile his hair started to style itself into very large drill shaped pigtails. He suddenly placed his fists against his hips and took on a proud smile. “Well my Toon Ancient Gear Golem can attack without you using spells or traps, so I still win.” Tina and Tea just giggled in response to this. “Then I guess I will activate my trap card before you attack, I use ‘Duo Performance-Mesmerizing Show’. I can now take control of one of your monsters till the end of the turn and I choose Toon Ancient Gear Golem.” The dancing and singing filled the monsters head as it ran over to the side of Tina.

 Pegasus gasped in shock before correcting himself.“Since I control  a toon monster now, you can’t attack me directly.” Tina told Pegasus. He tried to think if there was anything else he could do as his clothes continued to change. His shirt broke apart into soft silk strands. They began to rearranged and sew themselves into a long sleeved frilly white blouse. Pegasus decided that he had nothing left to do this turn and ended his turn.

 Turn 7: Tina (1900) Pegasus (1400)

Tina gave a reassuring cheer to her twin as she began her turn. “You’re right! I am going to finish this off. I activate the continuous spell card ‘Duo Performance- Friendship Finale’” The lights got brighter and the effects on stage more dramatic as it moved towards the finale of the performance. “I use it’s first effect to fuse a ‘Idol Angel’ monster with Flore and Ayane to summon ‘Megumi the Idol Angel’. Then I use the second effect to fuse a ‘Ballet Angel’ so I fuse Aiko and Victoire to summon ‘Reine the Ballet Angel’” The performers on stage fused together to bring out the ultimate pair of performers.

(Megumi the Idol Angel(2400 ATK/ 2600 DEF)-  “Ballet Angel” monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.  Once per turn you can select one face up spell/trap card your opponent controls; take control of the card and replace it’s effect with a “Duo Performance” card spell/trap in your hand or graveyard. If you control a “Ballet Angel” fusion monster, “Duo Performance”spells/trap cards you control are unaffected by your opponent’s card effects.)

(Reine the Ballet Angel(2600 ATK/ 2400 DEF)- ‘Idol Angel’ monsters you control cannot be destroyed b battle or card effects. You can summon a fairy type monster in addition to your normal summon/set. If you control a ‘Idol Angel’ fusion monster, fairy monsters you control cannot be targeted by card effects.)

 “Now to get rid of your last defense, I use Megumi’s effect to take control of your Toon Kingdom. Then I can replace it’s name and effect with any ‘Duo Performance’ and I choose ‘Duo Performance- High Tempo’. With this you can’t activate any effects during the battle phase.” Without his Toon Kingdom, Pegasus knew that his toon monsters could be destroyed now. Still, he felt a little bit happy that the card was gone.  When he looked at his toon monsters he was filled with embarrassment and shame. “Why am I using such childish monsters.” He thought before a red silk coat appeared on him. Like his skirt it was adorned with elaborate golden flower designs. Next, Tina used her mesmerizing show card to take control of Toon Ancient Gear Golem and began her assault. Reine launched a series of twirling kicks to destroy Toon Dark Magician (1400->1300). To finish off the duel, Megumi attacked Pegasus directly with a stream of music notes (1300->0).

 Soon after the duel was over,  multiple of the members hanged around at the top of Industrial Illusions. Tea and Tina were being congratulated and rewarded by Alexis. The new girl Priscilla was being doted on by Willow and Miss Raptor.  “What a cutie! We are going to be babysitting you from now on.” Willow told the little girl. “Yep, you are just too cute.” Miss Raptor agreed with her best friend as she patted Priscilla on the head. The young girl threw a tantrum over how she was being treated. “I am not cute! I am the President of Industrial Illusions, and you will treat me with due respect.” The two girls just cooed in response. “You’re right you are a big girl, now come on we got lots of cute outfits for you to try on.” Miss Raptor said as she and Willow grabbed Priscilla and took her off to playtime.

 Elsewhere in the building, Jade was talking to Yubel through Blair. “Jade, I have waited for so long, but it is finally time. From now on we will be together forever.” Yubel told Jade who was ecstatic. Yubel left Blair’s body and entered Jade’s. Jade could feel Yubel alongside her and could hear her voice in her head. “It will take a while for us to fully merge, but that is fine. We are together now and nothing will set us apart.” “Yeah! I am glad to have you back after all this time Yubel.” Jade and Yubel spent some time reminiscing before getting down to business. “ For now you will have to remain here in Domino City. Through you I will infuse my power into the cards produced here. Then we will be able to spread our will throughout the world. ”

 Not long after, the students began to return to the Academy. Blair looked upon the city with a smile, their plan was going great. The Society had many new members in the city who were recruiting more even as she thought about it. “We even finished the first stage of our plan. Now it is time to fully take over Duel Academy.” When they got back, she was hard at work with Alexis setting things up. Right now, the top duelists from North, South, East, and West Academy were coming here for a special event. “We got everything set up, time to get it started.” Blair suddenly felt something weird. She wasn’t possessed by Yubel but she still had some remaining abilities gained from it.  She could sense that a mysterious and powerful object was heading towards the island.

 Heading towards Duel Academy was the ship carrying the duelist from North Academy. Hidden away in the ship was a stowaway. A female duelist with indigo hair tied into a large ponytail with a large yellow ribbon and two long light blue bangs. She was wearing a black shirt worn under a red jacket. A red miniskirt and biker shorts alongside brown boots completed her ensemble. The girl had a serious expression as she thought about why she was there. “I can’t believe they chose that other guy over me since I’m new. I am a much better duelist than him. Well I will beat everyone and show off that I am the true best duelist at North Academy.”  She gained a smug smirk as she thought about it before her attention shifted to her bracelet. It was a metallic bracelet with a ring inside that had a purple gem in it. For some reason it had been glowing brightly since she left. “It doesn’t matter; I just got to focus on the task at hand.”
